(1) How would you summarize the storyline as it relates to Harold Crick?

(2) How would you summarize the storyline as it relates to Karen Eiffel?

(3)What are the respective functions in the narrative of Jules Hilbert (literature professor)? Ana Pascal (baker)? Dr. Mittag-Leffler (psychiatrist)?

(4) Why did Crick at first resist and then accept the narrator’s version of his story?

(5) What are the implications of the creator of the story changing Crick’s storyline from tragedy to messianic death-and-resurrection? (Here you should consider several perspectives, including, “the savior” [Crick], “the sovereign creator” [Eiffel], and the story in which they are set [Stranger Than Fiction].)

(6) How do you think Professor Hilbert would rate the “perfection” of the Christian Bible’s storyline? Why?
