(a) To mark a location with text click the “Insert” tab (blue arrow), and click “Text Box” (yellow arrow), then place the textbox wherever you wish and type a caption. One easy way of marking the location of cities is to type an asterisk at the beginning or end of your text box (see illustration below).

(b) To draw lines, arrows, or the like, click the “Insert” tab (blue arrow), and click “Shapes” (white arrow), then select line (green arrow).

(c) When you open the file save it as Pp in order to preserve your work with the correct formatting. If you have an older version of Pp you may want to get an update.
